Primary Years

The IB Primary Years Programme nurtures curious, confident learners through inquiry-based, internationally minded education.

The IB PYP is an inquiry-based curriculum framework for students aged 3 to 12, designed to develop conceptual understanding through six transdisciplinary themes connected to different subject areas. It fosters independent, responsible learners who think critically and apply knowledge and skills to contribute as global citizens. By exploring these themes throughout the year, students gain a deeper understanding of the human, physical, and non-physical world, enhancing their awareness of shared global perspectives.

At Genius IB World School, the culmination of our Primary Years Programme (PYP) journey is celebrated through the much-anticipated PYP Exhibition. This annual event showcases the incredible growth, creativity, and inquiry skills of our students. The PYP Exhibition is a platform where young minds delve into real-world issues, conducting in-depth research and presenting their findings with passion and conviction. It is a testament to our commitment to fostering critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills. Students not only showcase their academic achievements but also their ability to make meaningful connections to the world around them. The PYP Exhibition at Genius School is a reflection of our belief in empowering students to become lifelong learners, confident communicators, and responsible global citizens. It is a moment of pride for our students, educators, and the entire Genius School community.
